Man, this guy has a long history.

April 2017 - Commits to Texas Longhorns

June 2017 - Decommits from UT, commits to OU

July 2018 - Enrolls at OU

April 2019 - Transfers to NE Oklahoma A&M

May 2020 - Commits to UTSA

July 2021 - Claims his recruiting is "back fully open to all!!" even though he's bound by a NLI.

Without knowing the whole story, UTSA losing this guy might just be losing a big headache.

Sounds like a former QB commit who is now at Ark

Should we (UNT/UTSA) be commended for passing the Florida schools in talent, or has there been some kind of dip in Florida talent lately?  I like to think it's the former , and speaks about the increased volume of talent at the top of CUSA.

Done.  I didn't know the board admins had this level of sorcery, but they moved it and made it happen all while still allowing me title of thread mod.

So where did Raveon play at? How many years has it been since he wanted to play here?

I don't think he ever played after he left here.  Maybe Tarleton for a year.  You can search his name and he is still active on Twitter and Instagram.

Originally a 4 star Army All-American from Oklahoma City.

Quote

4-star recruit by 247Sports, ESPN and Rivals ... named to The Oklahoman’s Super 30 ... rated as the No. 6 defensive end in the country by ESPN ... tabbed as the second-best strongside defensive end in the country by 247Sports and 15th-best by Rivals ... top-ranked player in the state of Oklahoma by 247Sports, fourth by ESPN and sixth by Rivals.

Who knows? He could be looking to play closer to home, and there could also be another school, probably a lower rung P5, tampering with his commitment to UTSA.

UTSA will surely let him out of his NLI. Let's see where he goes, and why he goes there.

Small school in Georgia somewhere.  COVID got him one more shot.  Think this is his last year.

I don't know if it'll ever get him a pro football gig, but Raveon is one tough workout monster.

Turn your volume to LOUD before starting video.

I left the video running for hours just to give him the Sisyphus treatment.
