Could they be planning on staying if the B12 gives them a larger share of revenues? Probably not, but how long will their fans be willing to put up with the losses the SEC is sure to bring?

That’s just throwing duct tape and bailing wire around the body of the car that is falling apart. The league loses luster when two teams aren’t equal and keep everyone else way down. And recruits and other coaches will pounce on that very fast and hard. The SEC and the B1G are where the big dollars are and the ACC and PAC are well behind in those categories, mostly because they are in pro sports cities or the areas of the country they are in aren’t as diehard about football as the South and Midwest are. Texas and OU know it, as the compete against LSU, ATM, Bama, and Arkansas for recruits down here. They have to get in the Sec to make this work financially the way they want it to.
