This is almost worst case scenario territory. I’d be shocked if SL survived a season like this, and if he did, it would almost be an insult to the rest of us to see this guy continue coaching here because of his ridiculous salary being too high to buyout.

I’ve seen Rice as low as 6th, UTSA as high as 1st, and LaTech as low as 4th.  The only constant is UTEP at 7th😩😂.

Lack of injuries and some good luck may go a long way in determining the division champion.  There is no “team to beat.”

Predictions for most G5 conferences are usually bad, and there is little reason to think that they won't be this year.

The Covid last season is very hard to use for predictions.  Plus the great number of transfers in and out further greatly complicate rankings.

NT I thought had some very good high school recruiting and maybe the top class in the league.  However, I think there are lots of conference teams that have done much better in the transfer portal.  

Littrell, I do believe is on a very hot seat, and failure to get at least a good record for the last half of the CUSA season could be the end of Littrell at NT.

The goal should be to continue to work toward an undefeated season in a few years, schedule and beat a top 10 team, and get an invite to the CFB expansion dance of 12.  There’s now a path where there was none before.  Let’s get better and better and get ready for 2024 or 2025.
