Bruzzy Rendering

The new "Bruzzy's" Golf Facility is progressing nicely. (Below is photo from today, the other is an architectural rendering)

It also appears that they have made a real effort to not encroach too much on the tailgating areas adjacent to the facility.

"Over an eight-year period, (1948-1956), the North Texas men's golf team won four national championships and had three second-place finishes". That's quite a legacy on which to build.

Thanks for the update. Is there a link or where did you find this?

The link is WaltParkerDrive , it links you to the Blue Lot behind Apogee.

Just kidding. I actually just stopped by yesterday to see the new facility.

I think it would be nice if the university placed a monument to our 4 Golf National Championships on the 'duck pond' island located directly in front of the new golf facility. Make it a National Champions Park. Four national championships and three second-place finishes during an 8 year period deserves more recognition than it's been getting.

Thank you for posting this.  Very encouraging.

I'm serious about that duck pond island being turned into a champions monument pavilion. Don January, arguably one of our greatest golfers and a loyal alumnus that has been incredibly generous with both his time and money, turns 92 in November.

How long would we really want to wait?
