"McCasland concluded in 2020-21 his fourth season as head coach for the University of North Texas. In his four years at UNT, he has compiled an overall record of 79-51 (.608 winning percentage) and has led the Mean Green to its first NCAA tournament win in 2021"

I still get giddy reading that.

What an amazing honor for Coach and for our program.

Can't be a bad thing to have an established relationship with some of these guys if the transfer portal is in play for them down the road.

I have two memories of our tournament opponents:

1) Villa's ball movement
1A) Ivey's play

No doubt.   Ivey carried that team, and almost won it for them in regular time.   He's going to be a superstar next season.  Likely in the Naismith running.

I'll piggyback though:

Javion's floaters in the lane.  Purdue had no answers defensively.  He'd just dribble into the no-man's land and put one over their bigs again & again.
Nova's insane, unconscious 3-pt shooting for the last part of the 1st half just burried us.  I just sat shaking my head for that entire last 10 minutes or so before halftime... what could we do?
