From Kiawah Island, SC.

Munoz tees off at 12:47pm

Ortiz tees off at 1:31pm

Coverage begins at noon on ESPN, so if they play well we should be able to see them today.

Good luck to both.

What a frustrating day.  Ortiz was way up the leaderboard at -4 through 14 holes.  Par out and he would be sitting in second place at -4.  Instead, he blew up double bogeying 15 and "quad" bogeying the par 3 17th hole to end up at +2 and in 54th place.

Hope he can settle down and have a strong weekend.  The cut line has been moved to +4.

17 was really rough on a lot of players. Lots of double bogeys and worse between 15 and 18.

In any case good start to the day, -3 for the round even overall at the turn. Probably a bit late to get to the top, but another good 27 holes and top ten is still absolutely possible.
