Arkansas redshirt junior defensive end Nick Fulwider has entered the transfer portal and will not return to the Arkansas Razorbacks in 2021. Fulwider, 6-7, 290 pounds, is originally from Tyrone (Ga.) Sandy Creek High School and committed to Arkansas in the Class of 2018.

Fulwider started his career at defensive end but soon moved to defensive tackle. He has not seen the field for a single snap the last two seasons but played in the season opener back in 2018 as a true freshman against Eastern Illinois, seeing five snaps. He has no career statistics as a Razorback. He is the second defensive lineman to enter the portal since spring drills ended, joining sophomore Enoch Jackson who is headed to North Texas.

I get less excited by these P5 guys that never contributed, but I will welcome him if he signs here.

Seems like we are losing guys who never contributed at a G5 (us) and replacing them with P5 transfers who never contributed at their P5. Nice to have them supplementing our starters instead of relying on them to replace.

That’s fair.
