South Alabama adds former North Texas offensive lineman Anterrious Gray

South Alabama added a Division I offensive line transfer for the second straight day on Thursday, picking up a commitment from former North Texas guard Anterrious Gray.

The 6-foot-2, 307-pound Gray started all 10 games at left guard for the Mean Green in 2020. He will have two seasons of eligibility remaining with the Jaguars, who got a commitment from former Michigan State tackle Justin Stevens on Wednesday.

Best of luck to Gray.  This is the one transfer I really didn't understand unless he was told he wouldn't be starting this year.

I believe this one is truly a "get closer to home" transfer.   Not really another reason to walk away from a secured starting job at a C-USA school to go compete as a new guy at a SBC school.
