Total B.S.  The NCAA couldn't manage a burger joint.

It isn't even raining there today.  They should have worked their tails off to get the course ready.  Not even giving the young ladies a chance is ridiculous.

why not just move the tournament a few hours down the road rather than screwing the teams out of an opportunity.

For days now, several coaches have maintained that there were windows of time in which golf could have been played. Miami coach Patti Rizzo walked all 18 holes on Tuesday afternoon and said that maybe four or five bunkers were in bad shape. She did not see any of the maintenance crew working on the golf course during that time. She suggested to the committee that the par-4 seventh hole be shortened to a par 3 to adjust for the standing water in the fairway.

Young, who has served on NCAA committees for several years, like Rizzo, felt that the decision-makers in Baton Rouge were unprepared. Young was one of several coaches who noted that she hadn’t seen a single pump on the golf course.

“Everybody is kind of in a state of shock,” said Rizzo after walking the course on Tuesday afternoon. “Is this a conspiracy or something? Why are we not playing?”

This was a BS decision by the NCAA. That's why you play the game. You don't determine championships by rankings. For those old enough to remember, had Buster Douglas just went by rankings then he should have never fought the fight against Mike Tyson. He should have just told Mike to keep the title because he was the champion and ranked higher. He didn't. He fought the fight and won. Play the damn tournament.

Not sure if any of you are following on twitter, but the Barstool guys are trying to create an invite only event for those who didn’t get the chance to compete. Think they’re trying for Arizona?

I agree with several of the coaches, LSU should never host again, the biggest point appears to be the Club/Maintenance Crew, did nothing to even try and get the course ready, that is poor Regional Coordinator control, that person should have been going overboard to make sure course was playable, but apparently did nothing. Every regional has an NCAA Representative that should be overseeing that everything is done to make course/courts/fields, etc... ready for play or find an alternative. Cancellation with no PLAY never should have happened.

Hope we accept the invite. This tournament could create even more national exposure then the NCAA tournament due to all the backlash of the cancellation
