oh very well, then.  Keeping my original post in mind, let's start by changing the in-game rule that says UNT has to have more points to claim the win.  Seems like a huge barrier on our way to being undefeated.

Easily the dumbest rule out there.    Do away with this and we’d be National champs!

That's actually been looked at by both the NCAA and NFL Rules Committees.  It would apply to Defense fouls, since Offense fouls enforcement could have impact.

North Texas has never lost a game.  Occasionally, the clock runs out of time before we get to enjoy the win though.
