Considering, it looks like between us and a few others, we are about to completely raid SHSU of their entire defense (maybe team?), it's a pretty icky situation all around. Marshall looks to be in a similar situation with their entire team possibly following their HC to Southern Miss. I don't think that's NIL, but the free transfer gone wild. Losing your entire team if/when you lose your coach is just a ridiculous situation to be in. When it happens in basketball, it sucks, but feels manageable due to the roster sizes being so much smaller by comparison. I get that we were able to bring in 70+ transfers last offseason, but that didn't exactly lead to a successful season this year. It didn't work for Colorado, either, the poster child for this era. Year 2 they did better, but they held on to the core of their team from the first. -

High Point (12/6/24)
Most that follow college bb knew that playing at High Point would be a big challenge. They are undefeated 7-0 this year and last year's home record was 16-1. Not against great teams, because those type teams are not going to play them. I didn't see the loss to them as a big surprise or a particularly bad defeat. As far as Sissoko starting, he is a big presence around the basket and plays better defense than NT's other bigs. Maybe he will be replaced if the other frontcourt players improve their defense. -

I think it was the thread about transfers f’ing off or something similar. Wasn’t the worst thing said on GMG but a pretty tacky thread. And I know tacky. -
