Wow.   What a get for UTEP.   Should make them more competitive, but kinda have to wonder if Golding could have held on another season for a better opportunity.  He was in the mix for TXTech!

Good hire for UTEP.  Terry was like Benford he liked the hockey team change out and kept his players from getting into the flow.   I sure UTEP will get better overnight.

Not a bad hire, but I'm skeptical.  Apparently took 7 years to build ACU, and would he be a finalist if he lost to UT?  I liked a couple other options more.

On the plus side, I like his style of ball.

I love the style of play Golding will bring to West Texas.  UTEP is a good gig if he can get El Paso rocking. New Mexico is down NMSU seemed a bit off this year. That region is hungry for some good hoops. The Miners will bring it to Frisco in 22 if they begin turning the corner this year.
