Unbelievable! Even if UAPB was 1-18, striking out every batter for 7 innings is insane.

I'm really hoping Hope gets the nod against OU in a few weeks because it seems she is on fire!

Also, anyone notice how the field had no stands, just lawn chairs lol

Part of the Torii Hunter baseball/softball complex.  The baseball stadium is pretty nice.  I read where the softball complex is currently under construction.

Pine Bluff is my Mom's hometown.  Sadly, the economy has been tough on that community since the early 80's.  Not the safest place to be.

It is bizarre for its humble nature. It is a pretty good reaction to beating an overmatched opponent. Almost sports(wo)man-like. And it is one reason I really enjoy the ladies sports at NT. Very proud of and for this team and its coaches.

Really enjoyed the interview...best part was the fact she mentioned she had one more season left!  Great to see a woman athlete get some recognition on a national stage and her performance during the interview matched the perforamance on the field.  Seems to be another great representative for UNT.

this is amazing. the pessimist in me was ready for an onslaught of weird sexist comments in response to all this press, but she's getting celebrated as she rightfully deserves. Incredible performance. This is a record that cannot be beat!
