Our out of conference losses were to Arkansas, Mississippi State, West Virginia, and Loyola Chicago. I hate to lose, but if you do lose you want it to be against teams that play in the post season and are successful. Hats of to McCasland and Baker for their foresight.

We played against two 3 seeds (Arkansas and WVU), one 8 seed (Loyola), and the NIT runner up in Mississippi State.

Those games might’ve been ugly, but in the end it made us a great team. Big thanks to WVU and Loyola for scheduling us 2 days from the game date.

Hopefully next season, we host some big schools and win some big games!!

I think playing those games really helped the Green to beat Purdue. They didn't need to be intimidated because they had already played several games against that level of talent. I hope we schedule like that every year and maybe get one or two in the Pit.
