After reading the comments, it sounds like our concern should be OL depth.

Shocker!  Is anyone really surprised the OL depth is suspect?  Always has been a problem.  Same with the DL.

Well when you have 2 monster ends coming at you, it's not that easy. I think it's fine mainly because they are pretty young. If Farrell was on the team, I feel like it would be different.

I thought that Aune was superb and Martin not that far behind.  His first touchdown throw was a thing of beauty.  I saw one bad overthrow where he was flushed out of the pocket and threw the ball 60 yards on the run; about five yards beyond the receiver.  I saw a couple more slight overthrows that looked like coverage overthrows so that only his receiver had a chance at the ball and not the defender.  Drummond, who threw a pick6, showed more than Gilmore in my opinion.  Gilmore had a tipped interception.  Now if Ruder is better than Aune we're going to have a very good quarterback room.

It would’ve been a TD if Darden was underneath.

We’re gonna miss that guy next season.

I would hope some of the youngsters, Duncan, Cassidy, Brunner and Byers would start stepping up to provide depth.

Did our young stud TE's do anything of note? Seems like we have a plethora of talent at the position but not much production

The only ones that I noticed were Lyles and Jake Roberts.  I'm not sure if Lyles was at tight end or receiver.  Roberts was a very effective blocker but I don't think that he was targeted.

He impressed me in the few times he was targeted last year.  I would hope we would utilize the TE over the middle and look forward to production from the likes of Lyles, Roberts, Alberding and Christian Lee.

87 is an absolute stud. With a full offseason this year, he may be our best prospect on offense this fall.

I am looking forward to him developing his game, but regarding the statement in bold:

That's Jake Roberts and he is quite possibly our next big NFL prospect.  He is a stud and can really play.

Don't forget they also have Pirtyle and Albernding.  Alberding is also a physical specimen and is big enough to be an offensive tackle.  The tight end position is stocked!

Littrell loves to bring him up. He has mentioned Roberts many times in interviews unprompted. Roberts also seems to be among the weight room or academic MVPs that the twitter account shouts out just about every time. He immediately won that starting H Back role as well. Definitely easy to picture him playing an even bigger role this year.
