Has NOT committed but sounds like we are recruiting him and he will be coming to a decision soon. Not a full-time starter but rotation player for La Salle the last three seasons. Kind of seems like a big man in the Deng Geu mold. Tall, slender, athletic big man, not much of a shooting threat.

Junior, would have two seasons of eligibility left. Free story from Brune.

He should talk to Ousmane about the transition from NYC to DFW.   Bell, Ousmane, & Kimbrough... would be nice to pair these athletic bigs that can stretch out on defense together.

Yeah, given Kimbrough’s lack of shooting, I would think he would play the 5 here so that seems likely to be a Simmons replacement. A duo of Ousmane and Kimbrough at the 5 would be a good combo in that we’d have a more athletic big in Kimbrough and a back-to-the-basket scoring big who is more grounded in Ousmane. Kind of like a speed/power running back combo.

Even if it’s not Kimbrough, that would be the type of big I want complementing Simmons or Ousmane. In the case of both, but especially Abou, you give up some quickness and athleticism at the 5. Especially against the better teams on the schedule.

I guess he wanted to stay in his area or NT did not really go for him hard.  The American East conference is not that strong.

To me, he looks at best as a borderline player.  I think McCasland can get better.
