Villanova or Baylor ??

Who will you cheer for ?  On one hand, Baylor is just down I-35 a couple of hours.  Many of us have friends that attended Baylor.

Or, do you cheer for Villanova ?  Villanova knocked us out of the NCAA and if they win the whole tournament, it might reflect well on North Texas.  
 

The winner of this game could, go, all, the, way !  But Villanova had to get past NT to get this far.

I think I’m going to cheer for Baylor because of my parents and all the alum in my family, but would be ecstatic if Villanova beat them. If Villanova shoots the way they shot on us... could be a great game.

Nova for sure, like for NT to be able to state that it took a  national champion to beat them. 

Although Baylor is the closest D1 school to where I grow up, I have never liked them.

When Nova kills their own players and blames it on being a drug dealer or allow rapists to play without any punishment, I’ll have a harder time picking a winner. But until then...

I don't dislike Villanova like I dislike other regular contenders like Duke, Kansas, or Kentucky, but if North Texas isn't involved, I'll typically root for the Texas team. Unless it's SMU, UTSA, or A&M. And I love seeing teams win championships for the first time. I'll be fine with either Gonzaga or Baylor winning it all.

OK boys and girls.  It’s time to put up or shut up.  Baylor is a 5 point favorite but any team that can beat a Mean Green team is a team tough to beat.  I’ll take Villanova to go elite.

Nova got EXTREMELY lucky against us. Now of course our defense isn’t as stout as Baylor, but Nova missed their last 9 three point field goals.
