Maybe Simmons had a good game? I was too busy wondering why he was at the top of the key with the ball. Was driving me nuts. That is not his role.

Well well well...

Our first-ever tourney win, our first win VS a ranked team in 40 years, and I don’t believe we’re done.

Bell played a heckuva game & was the perfect spark plug to get us going out the jump. His presence defensively was a huge reason Williams was kept in check for the most part.

Javion was locked up early so he just grabbed a bunch of boards & dimes until they backed off in the 2nd half... then it was killing time. Just a brilliant player. What CANT he do?

Drez was hitting every big shot he took & seemed to be the only guy who could somewhat keep Ivey from doing whatever he wanted.

Zach struggled (ooh, especially putting the ball on the floor at the 3pt line with guards on him not once but twice in a row!...only time I got vocally frustrated all night), but who else was impressed by Ousmane??? I thought he more than held his own out there!

Reese is such a great energy guy. It seemed like every time we needed something to happen to slow down their offense, it was Reese with a steal right on time.

It feels good Mean Green faithful!

Now, let’s punch our ticket to the sweet 16!

Im so glad Johnny Jones doesn’t have to hitchhike back to Denton tonight since he has a game tomorrow!

You know this tournament thing is kinda neat and all, but I think Coach Mac is really just trying to keep the 20-win season streak alive. Let’s stay focused.
