WKU 04-cheers
LA Tech 04-cheers
And in the NCAA Tournament, North Texas 04-cheers

It's too bad that WKU and La Tech have to play each other so early in the tournament, but it's great that the NIT is guaranteed to have a CUSA team in their Final Four.

Mississippi State won today in the NIT. Our four non-conference losses were to:

- Arkansas: In the NCAA round of 32

- Mississippi State: In the NIT Quarterfinals

- West Virginia: In the NCAA round of 32

- Loyola: In the NCAA round of 32

Having played against this many quality teams has definitely come in handy for us the past two seasons.

This is what all those surprised by the Purdue win in the media are missing. I was waiting for the analyst in the CBS sports video posted elsewhere to mention that we had slugged it out against four top teams and taking those lumps - plus the CUSA tournament - had hardened this team and made them ready for Purdue.

Toppers lack identity and confidence.

Bunch of super-talents that are looking for a leader to guide them.  Until then, like last night, they look like they play without purpose.

Would not surprise me to hear that Stansbury is kicked out the door, sooner rather than later.
