Weak field, going to have to get a lot better to equal last few years' teams.

Very young team, so they should do that.

I have noticed that DeLong has been playing a lot of freshmen.  I don't know if that is to get them early season experience or if that is just who he is going with.  The roster has two graduates, 5 seniors and 3 juniors.  Of the three juniors, one is a pitcher, Tindell, that I don't think has taken the mound this year and Evans is an IF that plays quite a bit.  I haven't really heard much of the third junior.  The grad/seniors are two pitchers, Trautwein and Wall, that have thrown quite a bit this year, the grad transfer from UT that has been playing CF and Williams that starts at 2nd.  The roster is freshmen heavy.  Guess I just answered my question about why he has been playing the youngsters.
