The blue print is getting a former 5 star All-American to facilitate the ass kicking. I've followed Quentin Grimes since he was at KU (I know, screw KU), and he was really good then as a freshman. At UH; however, he has really elevated his game. He was shooting out of his mind against WKU.

The loss dropped Western off ESPN's Bubble Watch. The 2 bid dream for this year is likely dead.

High risk, high reward shooting their shot against a potential Final Four team. It was a ballsy move that failed disastrously.

See UTEP has schedule a game against Kansas in Kansas this season.  Guess Kansas was going to have a big gap between the regular season end and their conference tournament.   They are going to play UTEP again next year as well.

He is a stud for sure.  I was very impressed.  Looks like an NBA talent.

I would say low risk high reward. Also I think WKU was trying to get anyone good to play them.

I'm with Rise on this one.  Loved this move by Stansbury and I also believe it was low risk.  IWish we were in a position to do something like it.

WKU should still win the CUSA tourney IMHO. They lost by 6 points to WV and Memphis and beat 6th ranked Alabama earlier this season.

I think not having their 3 point sharpshooter against UH really changed the chemistry this WKU team. Luke Frampton didn't even make the the trip to UH. UH didn't have to worry about the 3 point threat much and so double and triple teamed Bassey.

Oh well, WKU just isn't deep enough to compete sometimes against top 25 teams but if they stay healthy, I expect WKU will win our conference tournament.
