NT has not had much luck against Rice in recent years.   The good news is that Rice no longer has Ogwumake, probably the best player in the league the last couple of years.

The bad news is that Rice still has the 6'9 Mulkey.  NT has had no answers for Mulkey, who seems to her best offensive games against NT.

Should be a great game.

Marshall ripped the Lady MUTS a new one.  Marshall is really coming together at the right time.  Looks like we are letting this game get away from us late.

Rice wins 64 - 58.

Rice is CUSA WBB champions, as they were favored to be from the start of the season with their 6-9 All-American center Mulkey.

Wow, but what a fantastic and surprising season this has been for Jalie Mitchell and the Mean Green women. Great Season Ladies!

NT can't defeat Mulkey.  NT had a chance but they didn't do any better with Mulkey out of the game.

Get another try, but I expect another defeat.  NT looked very tentative and nervous.  NT is not going to beat anybody with their two best scorers held to a total of 10 points.

This as Adler stated is a great year for the ladies, but the future could be even better.

Good call. Surprised the win today isn’t getting more attention.

It should have, I was surprised and commend both teams for their effort in the last regular season game of the year.  I expected Rice to coast, but they didn't and they played Mulkey her usual minutes.

I questioned why Mitchell signed one year player, Emma Villas; but she had by far her best game against the 6'9 Mulkey.

Great game by NT and if they get that kind of play in the tournament, they have a chance.
