Uhhhhh no chance. It was probably like 60/40 or 65/35 Tx State. -

Never left my seat the whole game from section 208. Any idea what the relative split was for TXSt fans v NT fans? Coming into the game and looking from the top floor of Moody parking lot in the hour or so before I went into the stadium, it appeared TXSt fan outnumbered us 4 or 5 to one, if not more. Clearly there were more of them than us, but did anyone get a shot of the NT side of the field to discern how many of those on that side were in Green. And even with TXSt fans sitting on the West side, was it even near full? We were mostly NT fans in our section but there were quite a few TXSt fans. Then after the game, coming out of the stadium into the concession area on our side it was packed NT. But likely most TXSt on our side stayed for the post game. I am guessing 3:2 or maybe 17K:11K for the whole stadium, but I may be way off. GMG -

Great ESPN Story On Drew Mestemaker
See there people like you are the problem accepting mediocrity. 😉🤣🤣. Well that is what I was told when I was pleasently surprised by a competitive bowl game that our team had the ball in late with a chance to win. And the waxing nostalgic for SL who was 0-5 in bowl games (without his conference leading QB jumping into the transfer portal before those bowl games) was particularly ridiculous. -

Agreed. The comparison at this stage claiming some significant difference is laughable. I don't know what people expected when they fired Seth a season too late. When a sports franchise is in a 15 year trend of mediocrity and DOESN'T do anything significantly different than what they've always done, you can't expect significantly better outcomes in the short term. That is my frustration with a lot of the fans. Winning the Servpro Bowl game by a late field goal wouldn't change the trajectory of this program. So why react like losing by not getting in position to kick a winning FG would? Similarly spoiling an attempt by the 2021 UTSA team to go undefeated in the regular season meant nothing. Yet many defended keep SL on board for a lame duck season. The only real difference between SL and Morris so far is that it appears that Morris has a better eye for QB talent and is better at unlocking it. Imagine if Morris got a hold of Jason Bean here. Absolutely no reason to be bring up SL like some kind of standard here when he lost all biggest games. Good man, very professional and smart but a mediocre coach. MOST FBS coaches are mediocre (around the median or average performance level) or below. -

Morris said. "I think you saw the athleticism, the accuracy, the decision-making. I wouldn't be surprised if in 15 years, Drew Mestemaker's playing football still." The way things are heading, he could also simply be alluding to new NCAA rule changes that will allow players to remain in eligible forever.
