My wife decided that this last snow was the perfect time for me to get in the attic and get rid of some stuff.  What a terrible idea!  Anyway, in my digging around I did come up with a couple of treasures from my days at NTSU.  Believe me not every car entered that day would qualify as a "sports car".    Hard to fit a keg in the back of a sports car.  Good memories of another day in Denton long ago.  Fly Like An Eagle!

When i first came to Denton all my belongings fit in my 76 Camaro.  That included two large speakers, the larger the better in those days, and my albums.    I did not have much when I came to Denton and leased an apartment in cement city but I never felt I was doing without and did not need a lot of stuff.   The apt was furnished it what best could be described as furniture that is found behind the goodwill store.  Bright red dyed carpet and wood paneling with free roaches.    It was a kind of place a junkie would go to die.   Good old Louise street and later I moved up town to the Campus Square apts.......Life was good!  Fox and Jacobs slum lords at their worse.
