Good for Jalie

What is her win-loss record as HC ?

What was the original term of her contract ?

What is her extension ?

70-87 coming into year 6, currently 8-3.

Not sure why they did not wait to see how the team finishes this season after a strong start.

I'm pleased to see that we're able to invest into our women's sports like this. Jalie has done an incredible job so far, and I hope she has a very long and prosperous career at North Texas.

We have the right coach. She has stabilized a program that has been struggling for decades and I am confident that she is building something special at North Texas. The extension makes it considerably easier to recruit players when you can show them their future coach has a stable, long term contract.

New UNT head women's basketball coach Jalie Mitchell by a photo of her when she was a 4 year all-conference player at UNT Tuesday June 2, 2015, in Denton, Tx.

That, and she has always looked great in green.

I can't read the story.  It would almost have been as easy to simply answer my questions.

Point being, they want your subscription money.

It's not expensive.  I think they have plans for single day access, and monthly plans are very reasonable.

Yes, I get the point.  Which makes me wonder why Brett logs on here.  I subscribed for about 45 years.  I started many many days with a cup of coffee and the DR-C and I told any newcomer to Denton to subscribe.  Things change.

just to argue but how is 3 of 5 seasons losing record stabilizing program? The 2 winning seasons were 17/14 and 18/16

Granted Stephens is the Benford of WBB so the bar was not very low.

It's just an incredibly hard job to get a program mobilized. Stephens and Peterson both had impressive credentials prior to being hired and they both crashed and burned. Aston accomplished a very pedestrian 15-16 record at North Texas, and she was then promoted as the Head Coach at UT.

There is major evidence that Jalie is building for sustained success. We need to support that.

Did he include any comments about smu or utsa’s recruiting class?
