Most programs would probably see him as a liability at QB. Speed sure, but questionable arm strength and decision making? Not a recipe for sustained success at the QB position

Is he still enrolled at NT ?  Is there a point where he is no longer “in” the transfer portal ?  Is he able to  “walk on” to any program that would allow him ?

It was "Excellent landing Spots" not a "Crystal Ball" Prediction. 

 

I think he would be really good at Army/Navy or anywhere they run the option

Once you enter the portal you have basically cut your ties with the current school. How that split goes depends on the school and how the athlete left (I believe Ruder is still working out in UNC's facilities for example). So once he entered the portal he is free to move on.

They are on our schedule so that means everyone will be back and they will have a great season .... that seems to be the trend for teams we schedule years out 🤦‍♂️

I mean, he doesn't have to, but this would be strange.

EDIT: Also cannot find anything from Liberty Football's timeline.

Has anyone seen anything that reinforces/validates PFFInsider's tweet?

Not sure that body type is idea for the option like they run.

Ya I remember when a lot of Mean Green fans were desperate thinking Dajon was going to be the saving grace that season...

He could’ve been pretty good with the right coaching. Chico wasn’t it. He tried too hard to make plays that he wasn’t polished enough to make at the FBS level. Once he dug a hole McCarney had all the reason he needed to keep his adopted son in for the remainder of the season. If Dajon had a Todd Dodge or Graham Harrell level quarterback coach, he very well could’ve been better than any quarterback we’ve had in the last 25 years outside of Mason Fine.

So here is my nightmare...Bean goes to LIberty and comes to Denton this season and hangs about 40 on us...it could happen.

      The Band

      I think the band is fantastic. The show was amazing this year, the band was loud in the stands and I thought the pregame was fantastic. I wonder how many complaining have donated to the Brigade or contributed to the program. The drum line is clean, the horns are loud. There were some coordination issues with the press box/dj’s this year, but I know the time these kids put into band. It’s massive. I’m a proud alumni of the Green Brigade, and I’m proud of how the band represents us old-timers today. Thank you, Green Brigade, for supporting the team and your school, and for the dedication you show week in and week out.

      I hope we lose to Temple

      I stopped when I could give tickets away to people who live in Denton and like football. After the new smell wore off Apogee (DATCU) it was impossible to give 3 tickets out of set of 4 away. Then I would have to drag one of my sons kicking and screaming to fill one of my 2 season ticket seats. Now I buy week of the game. In 2025 I probably won't even do that. Just very sad. Leadership doesn't care to win just participate. When and if Clemson breaks free of AAC we will end up in something more FCS than FBS. And I am not sure how they will pay the bills with that reduced revenue. 😥

      Okay how about all the grumpy fans that donate and go to games just stop complaining take their money and time and support something else? By my calculations about 5-10k undergrads are giving the players the 🖕🏾 disguised as empty seats at games. To the eye roller reaction: what do you suggest? Have you ended up wasting season tickets money because you couldn't drag any of your friends or family to a game on a GOOD WEATHER Saturday? Genuinely curious.
