Kid has character and loyalty. Both are traits that eventually pay off. He’s a good Mean Green. Super pumped to see what he does under Bennett.

I see this as a financial decision as well, and a smart one. He could very well make himself more money by staying an extra year and raising his stock status

I would guess he did the NFL draft evaluation request and now has a good understanding of where the NFL feels he needs to improve. I am expecting a monster season from him this coming year.

Think it was a wise move to stay and learn from Coach Bennett. However, I hope he takes out an insurance policy if case he gets an injury that would impact his chances of making the NFL.  Meanwhile he can continue getting an education for after football days.

I’m with ZO he needs to get an insurance policy against injury, but love his loyalty. I think he did check  NFL draft status and will learn under a different defense with P Bennett.

Dion Novil has restored my faith with all that is good (& loyal) at the NCAA FBS level.  It’s usually learned from the home front.

Have to think he went through the evaluation and felt this was his best opportunity.
