I believe his time on the bench may have fully healed his lung/rib issues, leading him to want to give starting one more shot.

He’d be a nice transitional QB. His problem is that he makes Aune look like Mike Vick.

If we really want another year of Austin, we should encourage him to not enter the draft. 

I don't think we want another year of Aune, even Aune with a new name.

Lets not forget we have 3-4 qbs that are talented on the roster. We havent had a QB coach for 3 years. One of these kids could be our guy

Bummer.  He was the only one we had interest in that I thought was interesting.  At this point I would just stick with Rudder Gunnell and the rest.

Did we (the coaching staff) or we (a few members on this board) have interest in Bowman?  I never saw that we ever reached out or offered.  I don't think we should give up on the portal because Bowman decided to go to Stillwater.

Kids in the portal do not always post their offers. One of our recruiting insiders could probably confirm if he had an offer.
