I rarely watch these games. There all the same.

The people that say “You really want to see Cincinnati or Costal get fed to Alabama?” I’m like “yes!”. We’ve already seen A&M get smashed. OSU has no claim to be there based on the few games they played and the Big10 political backtrack it took to get them in and ND got destroyed. Why not do something interesting and let a team(s) that literally did everything that was asked of them have a crack at it? There’s no objective proof anyone can beat either of those teams - since no one has actually done it this year - only biased conjecture. Let it be decided on the field.

I mean we know the answer - $$$. I’m not naive.

I love CFB but this system flat sucks. The most “non sporting” sport out there. The predictable outcome is sooooo f’n boring.

I’ll watch the Ohio State cLemson game because it should be good, but it’s boring seeing the same teams and them them shafting the Aggies.

As long as they let the "committee" choose they will be able to change the criteria as they choose to put in whoever they choose. The committee's ability to have no set standards allows for favoritism and manipulation. In the past they said early losses were not as impactful as end of year losses; until it was ND that got destroyed. I could have understood if ND was close, but the game was not as close as the score indicated.

It was an absolute joke to see them cutting into the committee members sitting around the tables watching the games. Go back to the computer based system.

Just go back to the old bowl system pre-BCS.  Sure, some teams got shafted, but no more so than now.  At least New Year’s Day was full of great games.
