Click It or Ticket

I'm sure all of you have seen the Click It or Ticket campaign on TV or heard it on the radio by now. They mean business. I got pulled over by UNT police today coming home from my final. I was buckled up, always am, always will be, but my seat belt was behind my arm in my armpit for some reason (I didn't even notice) and he said he pulled me over for not wearing a seatbelt properly, it has to be over your shoulder. Luckily, he didn't give me a ticket for that though.

I just wanted to warn everyone, you should be wearing your seat belt anyway, but make sure it is over your shoulder and save yourself the hassle of getting pulled over or possibly a ticket.

I got one yesterday. The crime rates in DFw don't matter as long as the citizenry is buckled up. You don't have to wear a helmet whilst on a motorcycle, but belts we must click.

Yeah, that one bewilders me too. I worked in hospitals for ten years, including seven years in ERs and Intensive Care Units. I saw car accident victims who weren't wearing seatbelts eventually walk out of the hospital, but I NEVER (even to this day) have seen a motorcycle accident victim who wasn't wearing a helmet EVER come out of a hospital under their own power.

YEAH! I have been hounding the guy I am dating to put on his seatbelt for weeks now...and the other night he got pulled over for not wearing one! Would of saved him like $150 or something if he would of listened to me! That makes a valid point......Women are smarter than Men......hahaha..love yall!!

We love you too girl. However, slowly but surely, our freedoms are passing by the wayside. Eventually they will be forcing us to eat a certain way to avoid heart disease, or wipe a certain way to avoid rectal cancer. Now who wants that?

Have you ever seen a car try and keep up with a motorcycle?

If they don't want to stop and accept their ticket the cops have no chance... and most of the ones that aren't going to wear helmets aren't going to stop.
