I would like to see these agreements with the first game being played at Apogee.  Seems we are always on the back end hosting allowing the other teams time to bail if they choose.  Otherwise, love the agreement.

Usually, the team from the better conference gets the first home game...

I was about to say... do we have any home nonconference games from 2021-2024?? Lol.

Yes and with fewer years in between.  And I don’t perceive this particular opponent as really that different from us outside of a bit better conference, a basketball natty and a cool city.  Definitely on the right trajectory though and I’m all for this and the Wyoming deal.

Not me... Newspapers, kickoff times, etc.

We should only play OOC games on the east coast, or maybe at a neutral site in London like the NFL does.

Funny thing when in Berkeley last year... a few of us are walking the Memorial Stadium promenade when a Cal megadonor thanks us for making the trip and whisks us onto the field with passes for pregame. Funny, gregarious dude, was generally wielding a lot of clout.

We mentioned at one point the return trip in 2023. He seemed surprised it was even a home-and-home, and laughed, “ha, no. I’m definitely buying that one out. Hahaha.”

🤷🏼‍♂️

At least we got this cool moment.

Yes, I agree...I want to join the Far East Conference. Road games in London, Paris, Istanbul, Moscow, Rome, and Boca Raton/Miami. We always have to be in a conference with F_U...

      I'm actually quite interested in this ECU game tonight...enough to maybe watch the first half or so. UNC-W doesn't suck, but ECU should be a step above...if they could move to 8-1 heading into a game with what looks like a pretty mid South Carolina team (lowest NET in the SEC), they'd have a pretty light schedule heading into conference.

      I do believe McNeese is a home/home. I'd love a conference "challenge" with the new PAC. I think they will be our greatest competitor in revenue sports moving forward as we'll both by vying for that next spot in perceived conference prestige. W need to beat them in basketball and football to keep enhancing our conference brand.

      Nobody is putting Utah State 25 spots in front of UConn, it's not a poll ranking. It's just computer metrics, really not that deep. That said, there's a great website that shows you how every poll voter voted. It includes graphs and even highlights extreme picks when they put a team 5 or more spots away from their poll ranking. Several journalists voted USU in the top 25 along with UConn and Dayton both unranked. Who knows what their actual gap would be if those journalists ranked to 40. Below is the website. Click on a team to see that team's week-by-week ranking via graph, then scroll down to see where each journalist ranked that team. You can click on that journalist's name to see how they voted.       let's try to get this thing back on the rails... Evansville (269) Minnesota (155) McNeese (75) Oregon State (49) Northern Iowa (167) Utah State (14) High Point (190) MVSU (364...literally dead last) App State (199) Houston Christian (347) I know it really showed through this year, but the next step in this program is clearly upping the non-con scheduling...especially if half the AAC teams are gonna be dragging down our NET rankings. I know the SEC/ACC; Big 12/Big East challenges are TV/ESPN driven, but it'd be incredible if the AAC could have a similar set up with another solid basketball conference like the A-10, WCC, MVC, MWC...surely ESPNU would chip in a turkey sandwich for that, right? anyone know if that McNeese game is a home/home? if they can keep these levels, that'd be a great add on the regular.
