Two More sub .500 Team Will not accept Bowl Bids

Bowl Season: Virginia Tech and Kansas State have opted out of bowl opportunities, ending their seasons. Both teams finished under .500 this season, meaning they wouldn’t be playing in bowl games in normal years anyway.

The wheels started falling off when they hit the meat of their schedule. 3 out of 5 of their last opponents were ranked, with another loss being to a very good West Virginia team.

It was reported out here in west Texas that Tech turned it down because they didn't understand why a JUCO was invited to the bowl game.

Stop being so cruel.  The Red Raiders doesn't understand a lot of things. Like, JUCO invitations, how to order a burger at Fudruckers, and defense.

UCLA: If extended a bowl invite, UCLA will decline the invitation. The Bruins enter their match up Saturday with Stanford 3-3.

Well you always have the SEC, who have 7 teams in bowls with losing records. Arkansas,Tennessee , and Mississippi State are 3&7, South Carolina at 2&8. I think UAB should be insulted having to play the Gamecocks, especially with Army missing out because Independence Bowl cancelled at last minute.
