Rubin Jones ‼️

I have been very high on him since he committed, and even got a chance to watch one of his games last year, but oh my goodness he is going to be HUGE!

I know Coach Mac doesn’t like to alter his lineups, but Rubin is making a STRONG case for that starting spot ahead of Drez.

He has been lighting it up from 3 when others aren’t, and is all over on defense. The simple rookie mistakes have been the downside, but that’s natural out of a true freshman.

I am so excited to see  him develop, so I just wanted to post this! He’ll be a fan favorite soon...

He’s 3rd on the team in minutes. Even if he doesn’t start he’s going to continue playing a lot so I think that’s the important thing. Mcbride has looked like he’s going to be solid too, just needs more D1 experience like Jones.

I was surprised to see him be the primary ball handler when Hamlet was out of the game on Tuesday.  His ball handling and passing were incredible and it looks like he will excel in that role.
