I wonder if NMSU will make the call to drop to FCS? Not sure they can continue to play as an independent.

Interesting that NT has been conference mates with each of those 4 Texas schools.  We’ve come a long way and still have a long way to go.

Best college game many of us still saw at UNT & old Fouts was the NMSU game in 2002 whose win got us a bowl game in New Orleans.  It was exciting from beginning to end & the goal post came down after the final second.

I don’t get the logic of increasing their travel when they aren’t going to make more. There’s some internal strife in the league. Talk going that Central Arkansas will leave for the ASun again more travel to what benefit?
