So will CCU move up past BYU in the standings or does that G5 SBC thing keep'um down?

One of the better games I've seen this year.

That was the best finish I’ve seen this year.
QB for Coastal is a freaking freshman

Freshman? Good grief! I had no idea. Just watching his body language (focus, confidence, etc) he looked very similar to Mason Fine. Only this guy's only quest was to win and not run up stats.

CC has one of the most disciplined offenses I've seen in a long time.

Silver stat quests wasn’t Fine but the COACHING STAFFS he played under

Hmm, maybe. But his main selling point coming out of HS was his gaudy stats. He (and his gaudy stats) got their asses kicked his senior year in a playoff game. Flinging the ball around didn't help him in that situation.  Anymore than it did against twice against FIU, Troy, twice against SMU, twice against LaTech and UAB, and once against Old Dominion and Charlotte.

He and his gaudy stats never took us to a conference championship.

His Sr. gaudy stats had an O-line that was like tissue paper.

Coastal Carolina is the story of this Fall like Boise State was several years ago when they beat OU in the Fiesta Bowl.  CCU has a 21,000 seat stadium & did a good job selling their program to some fine recruits.

We have much to sell at UNT starting with a population center of 7,000,000 within an hour of Apogee Stadium.  When UNT shines in the North Texas Metroplex there are many, many, many  who know about it.
 More specifically—
Denton County.........approx 1,000,000
•City of Denton.......................142,000.
    •UNT enrollment................:......41,000
• DFW UNT Alums....Approx. 300,000

“If “ifs & buts were candy & nuts....”  We need to hit this December signing date out of the park. We need the Texas & Oklahoma 3 (maybe 4) star recruits to take a safe chance with us & see they will not get splinters from Apogee Stadium’s bench but very much playing time as true freshmen.  We need a number of that group to commit to UNT.  ••• I’m sure Seth Littrell would welcome the few back who committed & then backed out of their commitment, too.  The former captain of the 2000 OU Sooners football team knows these are 17 & 18 year olds who just want to get it right.

GMG!
