As of this morning, MS State was ranked #75 and we are #102 per RealTimeRPI.com.

MS St is 1-2.  They started the year with two losses, Clemson and Liberty, and just beat TX St. for their first win.  D.J. Smith Jr. is their leading scorer averaging 18.3 points per game.  He is a 6'6" soph. guard and was a four star recruit, #2 player in MS, coming out of high school.  I would expect Reese to be assigned to him.

Tolu Smith is a RS-So that transferred from WKU.  He is 6'10" and their second leading scorer averaging 13.7 points and 7.4 rebounds.

My prediction is we win by 8+.

We were 2-13 from 3 against Arkansas and 0-7 to start tonight.

We made such big offensive strides last season and we just look lost against good competition like we did at the beginning of last year. Pump fakes with no real plan, which is leading to blocked shots and turnovers. Two straight games

Rubin Jones has been solid on the defensive end. Really impressive. Knew he could play offensively but he’s going to be a stud early. Need him to pull from deep with less hesitation, because he might be our best shooter.

what is wrong with Hamlet this year?

He’s the focal point of every defense we will face.  Until someone else makes opposing teams scheme for them, that won’t change

Against MVS he did not look himself.  When he drives he leaves people without their shoes.   Did not see that in the game against MVS.  Maybe losing Gibson was bigger than I thought it would be.  We need someone who can go to the basket.  Granted Gibson turned it over a lot doing it.
