Just take the SMU route and go after grad transfers and JC players. We hardly ever are able to hold on to elite recruits after they verbally commit. Especially at the skill positions.

As long as we sign Drummond, this high school class is a win IMO. 2020 class will all still be true freshmen next season.

You don’t know that

This is what happens when children are put in a position to make adult decisions.

Still working that first job you ever took when you turned 18? How's life at Blockbuster video going for you?

I know, full disclosure, but should a lost recruit be a headline or (perhaps) rather a short sentence in a  “Notes” section at the bottom of the page?
I don’t know, but something tells me if TCU lost a blue-chip recruit to North Texas it would not be a headliner at Frog Fan Forum.

GMG!

TCU?

Since 2016, they have went to 3 bowl games and 2 years they didn’t qualify and this year I doubt it.

For a program in the Big 12 that should be competing at a high level and winning, they really aren’t. Maybe the new incoming talent can help them, but I wouldn’t pick tcu right after they offered me.

Its the Big 12. Its the same reason why kids go to Kansas, they suck at football but its the Big 12

A commitment to a particular school means nothing. Show me the signatures on signing day then I'll get excited or depressed.

Yep, unfortunately this is how it is with many kids these days.  I like what SL and company have been able to produce late in the recruiting season though.  That is when we got Darden and Detraveon Brown in last year's class.  With this being such a messed up year, I wouldn't expect our entire class in December like in the last couple of years.

They have double digit wins 11 of the last 20 seasons. Having only 1 out of the past 3/4 doesn’t lower them to mediocre status that quickly. Definitely not when compared to us.

These things happen.

Ask UT how they feel about seeing the nation’s #1 recruit (QB from Southlake) and a 4* athlete out of Denton Ryan decommit, commit elsewhere, and take verbal shots at the longhorns on their way out.

It's not over until they sign or report for camp. Life changes...

I'm trying to think of a single instance of a guy signing with his original verbal after re-verbal-ing elsewhere.  Can't think of one.
