THIS GAME IS OVER. NEITHER BEAN OR AUNE HAVE PROVEN  THEMSELVES.

What have we got to lose... our virginity???  Might as well give him a shot.  Who knows, he may have a strong Q4 and fill us with false hope.

Austin Aune has no business being out there. They benched Bean way too quickly today.

Bean overthrew Darden like three times before being benched. Both have issues on the long ball.

Pathetic performance for our QBs today

Despite some impressive moments, yeah, they sucked. Neutralizing the Bean run game was obvious too. The fact that Bean can't exploit a spy is indicative of a coaching deficiency. Taking a defender out of the rush AND the pass defense game (at least initially) should leave someone uncovered downfield or make for a qb rush route post snap.

Kason Martin is not the answer. He’s done with football, he’s going to marry his volleyball fiancé and move in with this life. Bean can’t throw, his first instinct is to run because he’s scared of getting hit, Aune has horrible fundamentals, turnover prone, and nearing 30.

So you are saying Seth can’t recruit or develop a good QB?  Interesting

When are they going to roll out Gilmore? Reportedly he has tons of potential.

The same has been said for Aune and Bean......and a lot of other players that have been brought in by the current coaching staff.

It all starts with the guys up front....on both sides.

Which QB had to run for his life a lot and which one didn't?

Which RB had gaping holes to run through and which one(s) didn't?

Chicken and/or egg question. Is it correctly assessing talent (on or under the radar) and then bringing them in? Or is it just developing/coaching whomever comes in?

Yes and Darden dropped a sure touchdown pass that Bean put right on the money.

I dunno but it seems we have had the same discussions for the past 15 years or so.  Mason Fine years excluded of course.

No, he overthrew that one too. Darren could have grabbed it but he was having to reach for it

I disagree. He hit Darden in stride. The ball was well placed. If Darden would’ve had to dive or had fallen as a result of reaching for the ball, you’d have a point. He was hit in the hands and in stride. Starting FBS receivers should catch that ball every time.

I agree with you on this. The ball was in his hands, he just dropped it. It happens.....even to future NT HOF players. It just should have happened in the Rice game rather than the UTSA game.
