I saw the story on the athletic, but didn't realize that Vandy is about to lose a kicker to NT (probably because that Athletic  story conveniently left out that she was about to transfer).

I hope she scores this weekend. But I am stoked about her joining NT because she does seem to be a really awesome and physical keeper in soccer, not because NT gets a football kicker

So strange that a starter would transfer from a ranked program but happy to welcome her!

My wife pointed out that Fuller is from Wylie.  Touch of homesickness?  Caught wind of Mooney struggling earlier in the season?

she is a grad transfer

I understood that but it isn’t automatic that you transfer just bc you’ve graduated

Seems like getting a taste of football again is a distraction for her.  I wonder if she even makes it to UNT.

Check out this article from USA TODAY:

After hearing from Billie Jean King, Mia Hamm, Hope Solo, Vandy's Sarah Fuller to keep kicking

Just the typical UNT luck.

ESPN article today on her.   They DO specifically mention her transferring to North Texas to get her masters degree and to play Soccer here.    I don't think that has changed because of 1 kickoff.

https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/30416293/sarah-fuller-winding-road-two-sport-immortality

"Fuller will soon graduate and transfer closer to home to the University of North Texas, where she'll begin work on a master's degree in hospital administration and continue playing soccer. Ambrose, who is fully supportive of Fuller's decision, said, "North Texas has a tornado coming their way."

No worries! That tornado is about to run into Hurricane Hedlund!

And she will have two years of eligibility which is odd for a grad transfer.  Pretty smart and impressive young lady if she graduated from Vanderbilt with two years left.
