Have yall noticed the smut billboard on I-35E coming into Denton? "Pony up, Denton" it says. They don't consider us a rival, they say.

It is a good recruiting sign. A lot of good players in Denton. Dallas might just be far enough away from "home" for players who want to go off.

The player on the billboard is Delano Robinson from Denton Ryan.   SMU has billboards all over DFW featuring the players they have on their roster from those communities.

It's actually pretty brilliant, and the Denton community should be proud of Delano.

There's one in Plano too just north of Spring Creek on US75.  It just has a local player from the city that SMU puts on the billboard.

With large billboard costing thousands a month, NT probably has better things to do with their money.

Costs never seem to matter much to SMU.

We used to have one on Central Expressway right by the smuT campus.  It is what it is.
