Usually, there is lots of chatter about the upcoming opponent.  As of this morning (M), nothing.  Have we given up on this game and maybe the season ?  I was looking foward to playing Rice as well as UTSA.  Maybe we pack it in and hope for a better 2021.

I think it’s more of not getting our hopes up....although I do have my media room ready to go for Saturday’s game.

What Z said. Not getting too excited then to be let down again.

Now I’m getting hope that we play, but who knows what happens over the next few days.

All I know is, we DO NOT need to release uniforms because 3 out of the 4 cancellations were after uniform reveals!

      That is very subjective. Boise State or UNLV probably will get the G5 spot in the playoff over a one loss Army team. Louisville, SMU, Houston, Rutgers and Cincinnati left conference for greener pastures. So I don’t know who anointed the AAC as 5th, but the playoff committee isn’t listening to them. Army, a team brand new to the conference that came into the conference and dominated. They were independent juggernauts last year at 6-6 🙄. AAC is viewed as better than the MAC, CUSA and Sun Belt. But we certainly won’t be viewed as better than the reconstructed PAC 12 and right now it doesn’t look like we are viewed better than the current MWC.

      Football at The Dat next wrekend

      Don't if y'all know this or not.....but the last two years we've had Texas high school football games played in Louisiana. Both years the games have been at Turpin Stadium in Natchitoches. As a matter of fact, this year they hosted two games on the same day. (Daingerfield versus Newton, and Texarkana versus Port Neches Grove). Both games were last Friday.
