Sebastian Munoz is in the field and is scheduled to tee off #10 at 1:26pm CST.   Carlos Ortiz is not in the field.  His Houston Open win qualifies him for the 2021 Masters.

There was some rain this morning, so the greens are holding which could lead to some low scores today.  For instance, the leaders are already at -5 having just started their back nine.

Best of luck to Sebastian.  Let's go back to back with North Texas wins!

Play suspended due to darkness which was created by an earlier delay due to lightening.  Munoz is -2, 4 birdies and 2 bogeys, through twelve holes.

The leader in the clubhouse is Paul Casey at -7.  That will never hold because his putter always let's him down.  Justin Thomas is -5 through ten holes.  Munoz will be fine if he can keep it in the fairway off the tee.

Finished the 1st round this morning at -2.

Has had an up and down second round so far.  Birdied the first two holes, and has bogeyed #3 and #5.

Round three update:

Munoz just made the turn at -3 for his round and-9 overall.  He is currently in a tie for 6th.  DJ is having a great round so far and is leading at -14.

Shoots a three under 69 and is at -9 for the tournament.  DJ is running away with it right now. Munoz has been really steady and is tied for ninth.

And just now a mention of Munoz and Ortiz both having played college golf at North Texas

They have mentioned both of them as roommates at North Texas many times this week

T7 going into the final round. DJ would have to fall apart and Munoz would have to play unconscious to have a shot. If he plays as he has been, a Top 10 finish is a reality and would be an awesome finish in his first Masters. Good luck to him tomorrow.

DJ started to fall apart, but so did Munoz. Still on front 9 as of post.

DJ ran away with it and Munoz struggled with a 75.  Either way, he finished in the Top Twenty in his first Masters and should be proud.

He would have missed it, had he depended on it.

However he already has a spot. Everyone who made the field of 30 PGA tour finals in 2020 will get into the masters in 2021. So both Ortiz (because of last weeks win) and Munoz (because of tour finals) will be there next year.
