Sources: Conference-USA is considering playing its league games back-to-back on Friday/Saturday this season instead of Thursday/Saturday for safety purposes. Games will be held at same location. ADs are expected to vote this week on ruling.

Hmmmmmm I don’t know how to feel about this.

Leaves 1 less day to recover from an injury, and it’s not easy to play back to back games in college basketball.

But we shall see what happens...

Makes sense, get games played with a minimal exposure.

Bad for in game fans if they are even allowed.

Not great for players, but teams often play games in tournaments on consecutive days.

Should advantage teams with more depth, which NT should have.

Not a fan of this at all. No time for players to rest and no time to test in between games.

I agree that Judy is a disaster, but this states that the Athletic Directors voted in favor of this.

So a Friday night game followed by a Saturday afternoon game? Not a fan of this schedule.

Yep...leave it to Judy to screw something up...has to be the absolute worst commissioner in any conference. Period.

I'm not a fan of Judy, but there are many, many other conferences doing this too.

To me, it makes sense to do everything possible to schedule in a way that maximizes opportunities to get games in. It's not ideal, but I think this is the right approach for this season only.
