I noticed the status for the UH game has been changed from "postponed" to "cancel."  And, according to the CBS Sports story below, a winning record of 50%+ is needed to be bowl eligible this year.  So, with 10 games on our schedule as of now (who knows about Rice), can three more wins be found?  I feel good about UTEP and UTSA but note sure about #3.  Or, maybe I'm dreaming!

It would be cool if we made a bowl during the nonsense that is 2020. Especially if it were a local bowl. I know most don't like the Frisco Bowl but I live near it and we are building a campus a stone throw from the stadium.

So if we beat Houston Baptist, MTSU, UTEP,Rice, and UTSA we are not just bowl eligible at 5&5 but bowl WORTHY? Surely you jest.Of course we have gone to two bowl games in the past 20 years with losing records so I guess for UNT 5&5 would not be a stretch no matter who we beat.

Eligibility and worthiness are not necessarily the same thing.

Since attendance at bowl games will be very limited t.v. audience appeal will be deciding factor more so this year than in previous. I don't think that is a plus for us, but except for the AAC the same can be said about nearly all G 5 programs.
