There is some sort of black hole/disturbance in the time warp continuum in El Paso.

I don't remember any of our teams EVER playing well there.

It because El Paso will suck the life out of you.

We should win. They aren’t good. Neither are we, but we are still better than them. Team played well on the road last weekend, so maybe that will help them again in EL Paso, with less distractions.

But if Vito picks us to win, it’s probably a sure loss. Add in SL’s dismal record after a bye week and it could be a bloodbath out there, Juarez-style.

The song or the city? I can't remember when we went out there that we didn't end up like the "wild young cowboy" in that classic western song by Marty Robbins.

We will be coming off that dreaded by week where we forget everything we have learned through the season and have to start over.

I see it as an opportunity to get healthy and add more weapons to our arsenal.

So about 45 years ago?? Maybe we can use this for motivation...

Yes, the people of El Paso are still to this day singing forlorn corridos about the great Hayden Fry massacre (maybe more than one?!!) in the 70s.

Hayden Fry's team destroyed UTEP out there once, maybe more.

I was at that game and in high school at the time.  The game put NTSU on the map for me and off I went. Most everyone else goes to Texas Tech, I could not do the Lubbock thing.

fast forward 30-ish years, and I couldn't do the Lubbock thing either.

I thought it was at 4 but I guess it was moved. Not a big fan of this time because 4pm games end at 7:30 and that leaves a perfect amount of time to drink

But a 1pm start gives you three extra hours.  I would suggest pacing yourself.
