Additional Year of Eligibility For Winter Athletes

Looks like eligibility will be frozen for basketball as well. Similar to football and other fall sports. Two more years of Hamlet, Reese, Simmons, and Bell?

That would be amazing.   Unless Hamlet balls out of control this season and achieves his end goal... which I suppose wouldn't be a bad thing!

I still find it hard to believe that the softball team seniors were offered an extra year and no one accepted it. 

An extra year of play, but also a year most likely of graduate school. 

However, the biggest issue maybe of players transferring elsewhere.  It could be a personnel turnover fest.  Good deal for the players, not as much for the fans.

now that we are much longer down the road and still in this situation, if there wasn't some softballs regretting their decision or if it would be different if they were making the decision now.
