Charlotte just picked up a commitment from an OL out of Ridge Point in Missouri City.  Teammate of our commit, Keith Johnson, so I wonder how many OL's they are after and if this will effect the offer out to Boyd.

Commits to Charlotte

I’ve lived in Denton a long time and can’t seem to understand why these kids are wanting to get out so bad. Charlotte????

I think this situation is more Charlotte has been on him for a year... North Texas joined the race 3 weeks ago. Not a good look when he is 3 mins from campus and you are a year behind someone all the way across the country. It really screams you werent our A, B or C option... But come join us now.

So you are saying we are on D recruits now?

some people just think it is cooler to go away to college and leave their hometown.  It part of the experience of going to college.    Plus the locals have never shown much interest in Mean Green.

I mean,
Let's not forget that Charlotte just came into Apogee and whipped our a**es... I'm assuming that was a consideration in his decision.

They want to see the world. I don't blame them.
