We seem just a little off. Aune’s fumble while pulling the ball back from Torrey, the drops, Ogunmakin falling away from a TD pass, etc...  The defense has played better as the half progressed and I like Aune’s presence.  We need to get the ball in Simpson’s hands more often and work the middle of the field with rub routes and slants.  Is Shorter out?

Shorter left the locker room with a big boot and crutches. Definitely out for the game.

Shorter was on the sideline in a boot and crutches so I will assume he is done for the day and probably awhile

That was Nick Smith and I think a lack of practice reps between the two was the issue there. I believe this is the first we’ve seen of Nick Smith this season.
