UAB and UTSA is underway on FSSW. UAB D line is huge, but McCormick of Utsa is really good. Frank Harris is not playing at QB for utsa

La Tech got smashed by BYU last night 45-14...

Other games on the slate for later: Charlotte at FAU at 3 on ESPNu, WKU at MTSU at 4 on espn3, and our game.

So is Rice not playing at all this season? If no has the league taken any action on it (seems to me things could be mitigated given that ODU also does not play)?

They should be later in October because I saw that they are practicing.

I don't know the reason but Rice won't start their season until 10/24 against Middle Tenn.  All the rest are divisional games.  They do not play divisional rival UAB but do play the other five.  They only play those six games this season so I'd say a bowl is out of the question.

So they just so "happen" not to play two of the likely best teams in C-USA, but get to play everyone else? Convenient! NT should consider also only playing the conference opponents that are beatable.

Shouldn’t affect a bowl. The ncaa said records will not be a factor for bowl eligibility this season
