JUCO players will have 4 years NCAA eligibility remaining
Also wonder how this impacts a kid like Tylor Perry, whose eligibility JUST ran out before this season because of JUCO time served. I guarantee guys like him have probably already filed lawsuits asking to be granted immediate eligibility and reinstatement. -

This is a horrible ruling as we are on our way to having career minor league football players sponsored by colleges. It also means that North Texas and all other colleges will benefit from more developed talent. Hurts high school kids who want to go to 4-year institutions the most. Why recruit a HS kid when you can get a player who is two years more developed? It has been established in court that the NCAA cannot establish any sort of eligibility rules. Can the individual conferences band together and put forward some sort of eligibility guidelines and/or transfer portal restrictions that makes sense? -

3rd and 2 with 28 seconds left, go 3 down make them run the ball because that is what the box is telling you to do. They run the ball and burn a Timeout and have 24 seconds to try and score down 2 scores and they are kicking the ball off to SHSU after halftime so if they don't get a TD they're looking at a 3 score deficit. -

Its 3rd and 14.... Disguise coverage make QB Squeeze the ball let pass rush get there or flush him out and let spying LB tackle for minimal gain. I don't understand how anyone is complaining about getting this DC. Even if he ran 3-3-5 (which he doesn't 2nd or 3rd and long you might see 3 DL but majority of the time it will be 4 guys coming. Who cares?? He led the #19 defense in the nation. If he just takes this defense to somewhere in the 70's ranking we would have 10 wins this year and be tickled to death. Please just enjoy something nice because if he replicates his success at SHSU he won't be at UNT long. -

We're on our way to college football being a career. Time to work on the CSARF ... College Student Athlete Retirement Fund. (Gotta have "Student" in the name to continue the falsehood).
